Only think what really bugs me is that mane 6 do all dirty work, guards are never there to help, princesses are always in the background or useless ( Cadance was only one who actually did something, and she is the weakest from all 3 princesses and introduced very late into the show ), I wish mane 6 would not be the only competent ponies to save Equestria in every episode and season finale, oh well, at last in season 4 Twilight will be Alicorn, and it give hope that stuff gets more serious and that princesses will finally have some good screen time.
Bringing forth new Element holders, training Twilight, purifying the Crystal Empire, reforming Discord, making Twilight an Alicorn, bringing Luna back to team Equestria. Just as she said in the season 3 finale. She's been watching and planned everything from the very start.
She may not be directly in the action but she is a freaking Mastermind! By the Cellestia Balled song I became aware of the hidden sub plot. Maybe in the new season we will finally find out what she was preparing for.
I am glad that Twilight as Alicorn will finally get some power into her small team when it comes to facing super powerful villains, but it is still no excuse that she and her friends are the only one who care to protect entire country.
I hope season 4 will change it, after all Twilight is Alicorn and princesses have no more excuses to not help mane 6 just for the sake of test.
